Description
- Providing safe, high-quality nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients.
- Monitoring and assessing maternal and fetal status.
- Applying critical thinking and evidence-based nursing practice.
- Coordinating care with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Delegating appropriate tasks and maintaining accountability for patient care.
- Providing compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.
- Maintaining professional communication with patients, families, physicians, and coworkers.
- Following Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Potentially cross-training to another Perinatal area.
- Ability to scrub and circulate for procedures as required.
