Pharmacy Technician – Outpatient Pharmacy

13-Week Contract | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to support an outpatient pharmacy. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of outpatient pharmacy experience, strong attention to detail, and a consistent employment history. Local candidates will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prescription processing, medication preparation, and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain accurate patient and prescription information while following pharmacy policies and procedures.
• Support daily pharmacy operations and ensure an efficient workflow.
• Provide professional customer service and assist patients with prescription-related questions within the scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate records and follow applicable safety, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in an outpatient setting.
• Completed Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy registration.
• Active PTCB or CPhT certification required.
• Demonstrated employment stability and a consistent work history.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and organizational abilities.
• Local candidates will receive priority consideration.

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, generally 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Some flexibility in start and end times may be required.
• Must be willing to work until 7:00 PM when needed.
