RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Facility: Centerpoint Health – Winchester
Location: Winchester, KY
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Duration: 13 weeks (confirm with recruiter)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Openings: 1
Start Date: To be confirmed
Orientation: Weekly, on Mondays

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of RN experience
• Active Kentucky RN license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience in Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Must be willing to float to the Pre-Op unit
• Travelers must live at least 60 miles from the facility

Call Requirements:

• Up to 8 days per month, including weekends and holidays
• 30-minute response time
• Additional hours as needed

Unit Details:

• PACU: 9 beds
• Pre-Op: 12 beds
• Patient ratio: 1:1–2 in PACU
• Charting System: MedHost
• Patient Population: Infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients
• Trauma Level: Not specified

Required Clinical Experience:

• Phase I and Phase II recovery
• Postoperative patient monitoring and recovery care

• General Surgery

• Cataracts
• OB/GYN
• Urology
• Endoscopy

Additional Information:

• Scrub Colors: Navy or black
• Professional attire is required.
• Hospital-provided scrubs may be available.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills are preferred.
