Facility: Concord Hospital
Shift: Days – 8-hour shifts
Schedule: 5x8 hours, Monday–Friday
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 weeks

  Role Overview
• A Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) RN provides specialized nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The nurse assists physicians during catheter-based procedures used to diagnose and treat cardiovascular conditions.
• Responsibilities
• Assist cardiologists during cardiac catheterization and other diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Provide support during angioplasty, stent placement, and valvuloplasty.
• Assist with pacemaker and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) implantation procedures.
• Monitor patients' cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and hemodynamic status before, during, and after procedures.
• Administer medications and assist with emergency interventions as needed.
• Maintain sterile technique and ensure procedural equipment is ready and functioning properly.
• Monitor patients for complications and provide post-procedure care.
• Document procedures, patient assessments, and clinical interventions accurately.
• Key Qualifications
• Active RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience for the referenced position.
• Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, cardiovascular procedures, cardiac monitoring, and patient safety.
• Relevant certifications as required by the facility.
