THE OPPORTUNITY
A 26-week daytime gastroenterology assignment at Canton-Potsdam Hospital (Rochester Regional Health), starting 11/23/2026. Join a collaborative outpatient practice where your GI expertise makes a real difference in patients' lives.
SCHEDULE
- Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm
- Full-time, outpatient setting
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Evaluate and manage GI medical problems in an outpatient gastroenterology/internal medicine practice
- Educate patients and families on preventive care, conditions, and treatments
- Document evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans in Epic, consistent with NCQA, Joint Commission, and state standards
- Collaborate with physicians on complex and high-priority cases
- Prescribe and monitor medications; order appropriate interventions
- Patient ratios 1:14–18 — acutely ill adult population
WHAT YOU BRING
- AHA BLS
- Active New York state license
- Minimum 3 years of recent clinical experience
- Strong gastroenterology background with excellent written and verbal communication skills
