RN – Behavioral Health / Psych Travel Assignment

Shift: Nights, 3×12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) Contract: 13 weeks Facility: Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio Specialty: Inpatient Behavioral Health / Psych Float Pool EMR: Epic Beds: 24-bed unit; float pool covers four inpatient psychiatric units Patient Ratio: 1:6 Experience: Minimum 2 years Travelers: First-time travelers accepted 

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at submission.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience.
• Epic experience required.
• BLS required.
• CPI and Aegis certifications listed; confirm whether both are mandatory or can be completed during onboarding.
• Previous charge experience preferred.
• Education must be from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program.
• Two professional references required:
  • One manager, director, or formal supervisor.
  • Second reference may be a Charge RN.
  • Coworker references are not accepted.
• RTO must be submitted with the profile and included in the contract.
• One pre-approved time-off request allowed.
• Must float among four inpatient psychiatric units, including units with varying acuity levels.
