Description
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) for a 13-week travel contract at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Missouri. The therapist will provide respiratory care services to patients, collaborating with the healthcare team to support patient treatment and recovery.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Active RRT or CRT certification.
- Active Missouri license in hand at the time of submission.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
- New graduates are not accepted.
- Pediatric/NICU experience is not required. Candidates with pediatric/NICU experience may care for those patients if they hold NRP certification.
Schedule & Additional Details:
- 12-hour night shifts: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM.
- Every other weekend required.
- Must work 2 winter holidays.
- One on-call shift every two weeks.
- Orientation includes two days at the Kansas City campus and two days at Liberty Hospital.
- EMR: Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts); similar to Cerner.
- Biweekly payroll.
- The facility may cancel one shift per pay period without pay, with at least 2 hours' notice.
- Smoke-free facility.
