Travel Med Surg RN – Albany, GA | Days & Nights Available

We are seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses for travel
assignments in Albany, Georgia. Multiple positions available!
- Day Shift: 3×12s | 36 hours/week | 17-week contract
- Night Shift: 4×12s | 48 hours/week | 24-week contract
- Schedule: 7 AM–7 PM (Days) or 7 PM–7 AM (Nights)
- Weekends: Every other weekend
Requirements
- Active RN license eligible to practice in Georgia
- Minimum 1 year of Med Surg experience for days; 2 years for nights
- At least 1 completed travel nursing assignment
- Active BLS (AHA) certification
- NIHSS certification required
- ACLS preferred for night shift
- Experience in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital required for nights
- Must be comfortable managing up to 6 patients
- Must meet the strict 75-mile radius requirement based on driver's license address
- Meditech experience preferred
Unit Details & Responsibilities
- Acute care Med Surg units
- Nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:5–1:6
- Care for patients with CHF, COPD, diabetes, renal failure, GI bleeding, wound care, and post-surgical conditions
- Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams
- EMR: Meditech
- CNA support available
- Floating to other acute care units as needed
- Orientation provided
