Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)

• Location: North Providence, RI
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift, 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekly Hours: 36 Hours
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; 7 weekend shifts per contract

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of Emergency Room nursing experience; candidates with less experience will be screened.
• Previous travel nursing experience required.
• Experience with telemetry, cardiac monitoring, and emergency response required.
• Experience with Meditech documentation required.
• Must have a valid CPI or equivalent certification before onboarding. The facility will not provide CPI training.
• Certifications required:
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • CPI or equivalent certification

Clinical Skills

• Emergency care for neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• General medical and behavioral health emergency care.
• Psychiatric emergencies, acute psychosis, suicidal patients, drug overdoses, and management of violent behavior.
• Pediatric emergencies, asthma, respiratory infections, seizures, and recognition of abuse or neglect.
• IV therapy, phlebotomy, blood product administration, and IV medication management.
• Care of ventilated patients and BiPAP/CPAP management.
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
