Description
Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical / Telemetry
Location: Concord, Massachusetts
Engagement Type: Travel Contract
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Contract Dates: November 3, 2026 – January 30, 2027 (13 weeks)
Shift: Days
Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
Weekend: Every Other Weekend | Holiday: Every Other Holiday
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, neurological, and cardiovascular evaluations.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, telemetry readings, vital signs, and changes in patient conditions.
- Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including patients with neurological conditions.
- Recognize and promptly report changes in cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and overall patient condition.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established hospital protocols.
Requirements:
- Current, valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
- Previous travel nursing experience required.
Strong recent experience in telemetry and neurological nursing.
