Description
Job Title: Retail Pharmacist
Location: Zanesville, Ohio
Job Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 2, 2026
Positions: 1
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Varied shifts between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM
Weekends/Holidays: Not required
EMR/Pharmacy System: EPIC
Job Responsibilities:
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and safely.
- Review prescriptions for accuracy, safety, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
- Provide vaccination services as required.
- Maintain accurate prescription records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to support patient care.
Requirements:
- Active Ohio Pharmacist license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience.
- Vaccination certification required at the time of submission.
- Experience with the RX30 pharmacy system is preferred but not required.
