UNIT DETAILS AND FLOATING
=========================
• Ratios: PICU: 1:1-2. Ratios will vary based on unit, census, patient acuity, and staffing.
• Unit Details: Patient Population: Adolescents, Infants, Peds; Units: PICU, Pediatric Stepdown, and pediatrics, including intermediate care and med/surg mix
• Scrubs: Peds friendly top; Navy blue bottoms
• Floating: Candidates must float within their skillset and without exception to all PICU, NICU, Peds, Stepdown and Intermediate units. May also float to PHOC (Pediatric Hematology Oncology Clinic).
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

• License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission
• Required Certifications: ACLS; BLS; PALS. *NIHSS preferred
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & CLINICAL SKILLS
=====================================
• Years of Experience Required: 2.5 years of acute care experience
• General Critical Care: Ventilator Management; CVVH; Vaccine Administration
• Cardiac: Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

• Charting: EPIC experience required
• Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
• RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: Priority given to submits with a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests. No requests will be approved after offer.
• Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks.
• Accept First-Time Travelers: First-time travelers accepted
• Locals Accepted: Yes, Locals accepted at the same rate***
WINTER HOLIDAY REQUIREMENT:

• Based on unit/department: Clinicians must either work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, as needed. (Winter Holidays include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years)
