Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology

Location: Charleston, WV
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: November 12, 2026
Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

Job Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional vascular procedures, including angiograms, fistulograms, and embolization.
• Perform circulating duties and support procedures such as EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, and mechanical thrombectomy.
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation, medications, and IV therapies.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, obtain 12-lead EKGs, and perform end-tidal CO2 monitoring as required.
• Perform patient assessments and provide pre-procedure and post-procedure care.
• Monitor vascular sheaths and assist with vascular closure systems.
• Maintain radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience required.
• Previous Interventional Radiology experience required.
• First-time travelers are accepted with relevant Interventional Radiology experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Experience with vascular interventions, procedural sedation, and cardiac monitoring preferred.
• Active West Virginia RN license required before the start of the assignment. Pending licenses may be accepted at submission.
