Job Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical
- Facility: UnityPoint – Iowa Lutheran Hospital
- Location: Des Moines, IA

- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Night shift
- Schedule: 4×12-hour shifts per week
- Hours: 48 hours/week (36-hour option available)
- Weekly Gross Pay: $3,078 for 48 hours/week

Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of Medical-Surgical RN experience in a hospital or medical center
- Active Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license
- BLS certification (AHA or American Red Cross)
- Experience with PCA and heparin is required
- EPIC EMR experience is required
- Post-operative surgical experience is highly preferred
- Experience with hip/knee patients, mastectomies, and abdominal surgeries is highly preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome
Documents Required
- Updated resume showing at least 24 months of current Med Surg experience
- Med Surg-specific skills checklist
- Active Iowa or compact RN license documentation
- Driver's license
- BLS certification
