Job Title: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) 
Facility Type/Setting: Hospital – Perioperative Services 
Facility/Location: Fort Mohave, AZ 
Shift & Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM 
Weekly Hours: 40 
Contract Length: 13 weeks 
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week  
Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Regular call rotation required; weekend coverage is call only.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an RN First Assistant training program.
• Certified First Assistant (FA) certification.
• Minimum 1 year of post-training experience.
• Ability to assist with OB/GYN, general surgery, orthopedics, ENT, and podiatry procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during procedures across multiple surgical specialties.
• Provide intraoperative assistance and support surgical workflow.
• Help maintain patient safety throughout surgical procedures.

Special Notes:

• Surgery department includes 6 operating rooms.
• EHR: MedHost.
• Facility-provided surgical attire is required in procedural areas.
• Patient population excludes pediatric and neonatal patients.
