Travel CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Job Description
Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) – RN
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Shift: 12-Hour Nights
Shift Timing: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Charting System: EPIC
Care Setting: Acute Care
Required Qualifications
- Active Illinois (IL) RN license, or confirmation that the license application process has been initiated.
- AHA BLS required.
- ACLS preferred; CCRN certification is a plus.
- Minimum 2 years of solid CVICU experience required; more experience preferred.
- Strong cardiovascular critical care knowledge and independent clinical skills.
- Must be able to manage complex, high-acuity patients without extensive training.
- Strong EKG/telemetry interpretation, assessment, critical-thinking, and time-management skills.
- Must pass the required multi-panel drug screening.
