Mission Hospital – Endoscopy Tech | Asheville, NC

Schedule:

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
• On-Call: 1 night per week
• Weekend Call: Two 24-hour weekend call shifts within 6 weeks
• Scheduling: Flexible scheduling required; block scheduling is not routinely accommodated.

Responsibilities:

• Perform and assist with endoscopy procedures.
• Work with Olympus scopes and processors, ION, Olympus ultrasound equipment, and ERBE.
• Support procedures including EBUS, bronchoscopy, ION, EGD, colonoscopy, EUS, and ERCP.
• Float to Main PACU, Phase II, Pre-Op, or OR if qualified and experienced.
• Maintain patient safety and support procedural workflows.

Required Documents & Certifications:

• Updated resume highlighting in-hospital endoscopy experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• PALS certification
• Applicable credentials and competency documentation as required by the facility

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of in-hospital endoscopy experience — mandatory
• Must have BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Must be flexible with scheduling, on-call, and weekend call requirements
• Pulmonary procedural experience preferred
• Cerner and Provation EMR experience preferred
• Surgical scrubs provided by the facility
