RN MedSurg/Tele

Overview

Role: RN MedSurg/Tele
Location: Richmond, Kentucky
Contract length: 13 weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana.
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year.
1 year of Med Surg / Telemetry experience.
BLS.
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous nursing experience.
BSN.

Job Summary

Provides direct patient care on the unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, admission/transfer/discharge activities, patient and family education, care coordination, and individualized treatment planning.
Performs comprehensive assessments, develops and implements care plans, delegates appropriately, monitors delegated care, and supports discharge planning.
Participates in unit-based activities and quality improvement efforts, including patient satisfaction, falls, pressure ulcers, CAUTIs, and documentation auditing.
