Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

Facility: Chesapeake Regional Healthcare
Location: Chesapeake, Virginia

Position Details

Schedule: 5x8-hour or 4x10-hour shifts
Shift Window: Day shift, between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40 hours
Experience Required: 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience
Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and one qualifying cardiovascular credential
Call: Approximately 12 call days per month, including some weekends
Holiday Call: Required; holiday time off will not be approved
Overtime: Expected based on procedural volume
RTO: Must be submitted with the profile; reviewed individually

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience
Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program leading toward Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist registry
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
One of the following credentials:
- RCIS – Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
- RCVT – Registered Cardiovascular Technologist
- RCES – Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist
ARRT candidates will not be considered
No previous license or background hits
No history of fit-testing issues, as the facility cannot accommodate a PAPR
