·         Number of Beds – 12 + 6 hallway

·         Number of Staff –  16

·         Type of staff:

o    Day Shift –1 charge/manager, 3 nurses, sitter/tech PRN

o    Night Shift – 1 charge, 2 nurses, sitter/tech PRN

·         Patient Ratios –  1:4 nurse to patient

·         Type of equipment – Central monitors, bedside US, non-invasive CVP monitor

·         EMR - Meditech

Typical hiring profile

Skill Set Most recruited for:  (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Must have:  candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.

·         BLS, ACLS and PALS

Preferred or nice to have:  candidates with these skills will be considered first.

·         TNCC/trauma certification/CEN

·         ENPC

List typical procedures performed on unit(s):  

·           IVs, EKGs routine

·          Sedation, ortho reduction rarely

Best personality Fit:

·          Strong patient experience focus
