mportant Scheduling & Submission Requirements

• Shift: Rotating Days/Nights (D/N). Rotation may occur within the same week, with ample time off provided for the transition between shifts.
• Weekends: Required; details will be discussed during the interview.
• Experience: Level IV NICU experience required.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP, and an active state or compact RN license required. PALS preferred.

Required Skills & Clinical Experience

• IV therapy, blood and blood product administration, arterial line management, central line care, and IV initiation/maintenance.
• UAC/UVC management, emergency medications, anti-seizure medications, antibiotics/antivirals, IV vasopressors, and neonatal dosage calculations.
• Developmental care, patient/family education, phlebotomy, thermoregulation, and APGAR scoring (preferred).
• Neurological care, seizure disorders, neonatal abstinence syndrome, therapeutic hypothermia, lumbar puncture assistance, and VP shunts.
• Blood glucose monitoring, insulin administration, and phototherapy.
• Breastfeeding support, breast milk handling, enteral feedings, feeding tube placement/management, ostomy care, and post-abdominal surgery care.
• Respiratory management, including Bubble CPAP, HFNC, Vapotherm, ventilators, suctioning, chest tubes, and respiratory distress syndrome.
• Cardiovascular care, including dysrhythmia management (preferred), pre/post-cardiac surgery, and post-cardiac catheterization care.
• Infection control, isolation precautions/PPE, and sepsis workups.
