 Mandatory Qualifications

• RN license: Current, valid Registered Nurse license required.
• BLS certification: Basic Life Support certification required.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Clinical assessment skills: Ability to perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate patient assessments.
• Clinical competency: Ability to provide appropriate nursing care and demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures.
• Documentation: Ability to maintain complete and accurate patient records.
• Pre-Admission Testing: Ability to review preoperative testing orders and identify missing or potentially inappropriate tests based on the planned surgery, patient age, and current health status.

An associate degree or bachelor's degree is preferred, but the posting does not specify either as mandatory.

Work Schedule and Employment Details

• Shift: Day shift, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM.
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week.
• Position type: Travel RN.
• Guaranteed hours: Yes.
• Work setting: Pre-Admission Testing / perioperative nursing.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree or bachelor's degree in nursing.
• Experience with preoperative assessment, surgical patients, and Pre-Admission Testing is particularly relevant, although the posting does not specify a separate minimum number of years in PAT.
