Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Manager to lead hospital sterile processing operations in Chesterfield, Missouri. This role oversees daily operations, team performance, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with hospital leadership, surgeons, and Operating Room (OR) personnel.

The ideal candidate will bring strong operational leadership, sterile processing expertise, and the ability to improve departmental efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and service quality.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily sterile processing operations and ensure timely, high-quality service to the OR and other hospital departments.
• Recruit, train, coach, and manage sterile processing staff and frontline leaders.
• Collaborate with hospital administration, surgeons, OR leadership, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor staffing, productivity, operational KPIs, quality metrics, and departmental performance.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, credentialing requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Use operational data and technology to monitor performance and plan staffing and resource needs.
• Support financial performance, budget accountability, and operational goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of Operating Room and/or Sterile Processing experience.
• CRCST certification required.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management, leadership, or supervisory experience.
• CER certification.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience collaborating directly with hospital leadership, senior executives, or C-suite stakeholders.
• Experience managing operational performance, quality metrics, and process improvement initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive annual salary of $95,000–$120,000, based on experience.
• 15% annual target bonus.
