Description
Pediatric ICU---20 bed unit that is part of a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Our patients include a wide range of specialties, including trauma, general surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, surgery, oncology, solid organ transplants, burns, and various medical specialties. Eight (8) beds are designated for providing specialized care to pediatric cardiac patients. Ratio 1 to 2-3.
Please note that this traveler will be hired to support a shared staffing model between the Pediatric Cardiac ICU (PCICU) and the Pediatric ICU (PICU). The units are located directly next to one another, and flexibility to work between both areas is a requirement of the assignment. Please ensure candidates are fully aware of and comfortable with this expectation prior to submission. Any questions or concerns regarding the unit staffing model should be addressed before presenting a candidate. Days Per Week: 3.00
