Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a weekend assignment in Bethesda, Maryland. The ideal candidate will have strong MRI scanning skills, experience operating GE MRI scanners, and the ability to provide high-quality diagnostic images to support accurate patient diagnosis.

Experience with breast imaging procedures is a plus.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic MRI examinations of organs, organ systems, and blood flow.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and verify relevant clinical information.
• Operate GE MRI scanners and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist with patient preparation, room turnover, and workflow coordination.
• Provide radiologists with images needed for accurate diagnostic interpretation.
• Follow established safety protocols and imaging procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience.
• ARRT (MRI) certification required.
• GE MRI scanner experience required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• High school diploma/GED or college education.
• Ability to work the required weekend schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completion of at least one previous travel assignment.
• Breast procedure experience.

Schedule Details

• Saturday and Sunday.
• 6:00 AM–10:30 PM.
• Weekend coverage required.
