<ul><li>Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM</li><li>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform comprehensive patient assessments across pediatric to geriatric populations.</li><li>Provide direct nursing care and demonstrate competency with emergency equipment and procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, patient progress, and education.</li><li>Complete preoperative and postoperative assessments and patient education.</li><li>Assess patients’ understanding of surgical procedures and instructions, involving family members as appropriate.</li><li>Evaluate pre-admission testing orders for appropriateness and potential omissions based on the planned surgery and patient’s age.</li><li>Support timely completion of required patient testing.</li><li>Prioritize patient care based on patient needs and changes in condition.</li><li>Follow patient safety protocols, maintain confidentiality, and communicate professionally with patients, families, and staff.</li></ul></li></ul>
