Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a 26-week travel assignment in Fairbanks, Alaska. The ideal candidate has recent inpatient MRI experience, travel experience, and hands-on proficiency with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI systems. Experience performing cardiac MRI examinations is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in an inpatient imaging setting.
- Conduct cardiac MRI studies and support appropriate patient preparation and positioning.
- Operate Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment.
- Maintain patient safety and follow MRI screening and imaging protocols.
- Adapt to variable scheduling, including weekend shifts.
- Float between inpatient and outpatient imaging as needed.
Must-Have Credentials
- ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- At least 3 years of recent inpatient MRI experience
- Recent experience with Siemens 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment
- Previous travel experience
- Cardiac MRI experience
Preferred: Five or more years of MRI experience.
Additional Details
- Orientation begins with an 8-hour Monday day shift; the remaining schedule will be determined by the supervisor.
- Orientation is billable.
- Up to 14 days of requested time off may be submitted, including a maximum of four weekend shifts. All requests must be included at submission.
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles outside Fairbanks.
- Payroll is weekly.
