Description

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Critical Care & NICU – Night Shift

Schedule: Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours Per Week | 12 Hours Per Day
- Transport Requirement: Must be able and willing to participate in external patient transports as clinically indicated.

Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE]

Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 1–3+ years of clinical experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Must possess direct hands-on experience in Adult Critical Care (ICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) [HARDSTOP].
Equipment & Ventilation Proficiency [HARDSTOP]: Verified clinical operating proficiency with Respironics V60 BiPAP systems and Puritan Bennett 980 (PB980) Ventilators strictly required [HARDSTOP].
Diagnostic Competencies [HARDSTOP]: Direct clinical proficiency in performing arterial blood gas (ABG) arterial punctures, ABG laboratory blood analysis, and blood gas laboratory Quality Control (QC) procedures [HARDSTOP].
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active New York State Respiratory Therapy Permit or License strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
Primary Professional Credentials [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active NBRC RRT credential (Registered Respiratory Therapist) strictly required at submission [HARDSTOP].
Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]:
- Active BLS certification (AHA, HSI, or ARC) [HARDSTOP].
- Active AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification [HARDSTOP].
EMR Systems: Direct clinical proficiency with Epic EMR charting system required.
