Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

🕐 Shift: Day shift, 4 × 10-hour shifts
⏰ Shift Time Listed: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM (8.5 hours; confirm schedule against the 4×10 requirement)
📞 Call: 2–3 weeknights per week, every 3rd weekend, and 2–3 holidays per year
💻 EMR: Epic
🏥 Department: Cardiac Cath Lab
🚑 Trauma Level: II
👕 Scrubs: Hospital scrubs provided

Unit Details

2 cath labs, 1 hybrid room, and a 6-bed recovery area.
Approximately 5 cases per day.
Patient cases include STEMI, NSTEMI, chest pain, peripheral angiography, stroke patients requiring neuro-intervention, line and drain placement, and loop recorders.
Equipment includes Philips monitoring equipment and tables, McKesson in the labs, and one biplane lab.
Floating is generally not required.
Charge nurse may occasionally take a patient assignment.

Requirements

Recent cardiac catheterization experience required.
Recent peripheral catheterization experience required.
BLS (AHA) required.
Active Illinois license or confirmation that the application process has started.
Philips equipment and McKesson experience preferred.
No BSN requirement.
