Schedule: Every other weekend and required holiday coverage
Experience: 1–2+ years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience

Job Description

Seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry RN to provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring and management of acute medical conditions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and patient conditions; identify and report changes promptly.
• Administer medications, including antibiotics, anticoagulants, blood products, Lasix, and amiodarone.
• Care for patients with CHF, COPD, diabetes, sepsis, pneumonia, and alcohol-related conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately.
• Follow hospital protocols for patient safety, infection prevention, and medication administration.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license or conditional license.
• 1–2+ years of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience.
• Acute-care hospital experience and telemetry skills required.
• Current AHA BLS required; AHA ACLS preferred.
• Charge RN experience highly preferred.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• First-time travelers accepted.

Additional Details

• Floating to other units is required.
• Block scheduling is not available.
• Every other weekend and every other major holiday coverage required.
• Any scrub color accepted.
