POSITION OVERVIEW
Seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience for a PRN assignment. This opportunity is ideal for candidates seeking flexible scheduling while remaining available for ongoing staffing needs.
The client is looking to add qualified candidates to its available staffing pool. Candidates must have a consistent commitment to picking up shifts weekly to remain active on the assignment.
PRN ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
- Contract Type: PRN, ongoing assignment through the end of the year.
- Shift: Days, 12-hour shifts.
- Patient Ratios: Within California legal guidelines.
- Floating: Not required.
- On-Call: Not required.
- Contract Review: Reviewed every 4 weeks to confirm the candidate is actively working and picking up shifts weekly..
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 2 years of Certified Surgical Technologist experience required.
- Previous Labor and Delivery experience required.
Required certifications and credentials:
- BLS
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
- NBSTSA certification — required
- Fire Card
PAY PACKAGE
- Regular Pay: $50.00/hour for 8 hours = $400.00
- Overtime Pay: $75.00/hour for 4 hours = $300.00
- On-Call Pay: $0.00
- Stipends: None
- Gross Pay for One 12-Hour Shift: $700.00
Estimated Earnings Based on Shifts Worked:
- 1 shift (12 hours): $700 gross
- 2 shifts (24 hours): $1,400 gross
- 3 shifts (36 hours): $2,100 gross
- 4 shifts (48 hours): $2,800 gross
- 5 shifts (60 hours): $3,500 gross
ADDITIONAL ASSIGNMENT INFORMATION
- Scrubs: Royal blue or navy blue.
- PPE: Fully provided; fit testing can be completed onsite.
- Parking: Available onsite.
- EMR: Epic.
- Specialty: Labor and Delivery / Surgical Technologist.
