Description

Job Overview

Facility: MVH Main Campus (Miami Valley Hospital; confirm with account manager)
Position: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Experience: Minimum 1 year of cardiac cath lab experience
EP Experience: Preferred
Charting System: Epic required
Department: Level III Cath Lab
Lab Setup: 5 cath labs and 2 EP labs
Patient Volume: Approximately 20 patients daily across all labs

Schedule

Shift: Day shift, 4×10 hours
Timing: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Call: One mandatory call shift per week
Weekend Call: Every fourth weekend, from Saturday 7:00 AM to Monday 7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Required Certifications & Credentials

ARRT(R) or CCI RCIS
BLS certification
Licensed Radiologic Technologist, as applicable to the credential pathway

Required Skills

Diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization
Cardiac and peripheral angiography
Electrophysiology (EP) studies
Pacemaker and temporary pacemaker insertions
Cardiac device implantation
Assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures
Peri-procedural patient care and education
Procedure documentation

Preferred Skills

Electrophysiology (EP) lab experience
MacLab experience
Experience with cardiac ablations and ICD insertions
Structural heart procedures, including:
- TAVR
- Watchman
- MitraClip
