Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Stepdown experience
• Cardiac experience required
• Neuro experience is a plus
• Active Tennessee RN license or Compact license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Experience interpreting and managing cardiac dysrhythmias
• Paragon charting experience may be helpful; confirm whether it is mandatory

Unit Information

• Unit Size: 31 beds
• Daily Census: 12
• Patient Population: Adults
• Common Cases: ER and observation patients, cardiac cath, TEE, EP studies, pacemakers, vascular procedures, pre/post-cath and angiography patients
• Support Services: PT, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, rapid response, interpretation services, and unit secretary
