Ultrasound Technologist – Days

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a variety of ultrasound studies, strong technical skills, and the ability to adapt to changing scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations accurately and efficiently.
• Conduct obstetric, OB follow-up, DVT, thyroid, bladder, renal, aortic screening, soft tissue, and other required ultrasound studies.
• Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures as needed.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following established protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and equipment maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support quality patient care.
• Adapt to department scheduling needs and floating requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in ultrasound.
• Active ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB/GYN.
• Current BLS certification.

• Ability to perform a variety of ultrasound examinations, including OB, DVT, thyroid, bladder, renal, aortic screening, and soft tissue studies.

   

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Day shift, 5 × 8-hour shifts.
• 40 hours per week.
• Scheduling is based on department needs. Specific days off, blocked scheduling, and preferred shift patterns cannot be guaranteed.
• Must be flexible with scheduling and potential floating between locations, as needed.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• No on-call requirement.

• Local candidates are accepted.

   

Pay Package – Travel

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $3,220

• Regular Pay: $33.00/hour × 40 hours = $1,320.00
• Overtime Pay: $49.50/hour; no overtime included in this estimate.
• Weekly Lodging Stipend: $1,900.00
• Meals Stipend: $0.00
• Total Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,220.00

• Scrubs: Royal blue or navy blue.
• PPE provided; fit testing can be completed onsite.
• Parking available onsite.
• EMR: Epic.
• Pay cycle: Sunday through Saturday.
