Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) – Retail Pharmacy

Contract: 13 Weeks | Start Date: November 23, 2026
Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
EMR: Athena

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Pharmacist in Charge to oversee retail pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and promote safe medication management.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance.
Fill and verify prescriptions and process insurance claims.
Provide medication consultations to patients and healthcare professionals.
Manage inventory, medication safety, and required records.
Administer immunizations and support reimbursement activities.

Requirements

PharmD from an accredited college of pharmacy.
Active Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing.
Current CPR certification and immunization certification.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Additional Information

Holiday coverage required.
Housing provided by the facility.
No on-call requirement.
Overtime eligibility after 40 hours per week.
W-2 only; 1099 not accepted.
