Hiring: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Great Barrington, Massachusetts
Start Date: November 16, 2026
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 12-hour varied shifts
Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
Openings: 2
Schedule Requirements: Must be flexible to work any shift, including weekends and holidays
On-Call: Not required

Key Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory and cardiopulmonary treatments according to physician orders.
• Assess and support patients across all age groups.
• Perform respiratory therapy procedures and related clinical duties.
• Cross-train in cardiopulmonary services, including EKGs, stress tests, Holter monitors, event monitors, and EEGs.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using the facility's electronic medical record system.
• Adapt to varied shifts and departmental scheduling requirements.

Schedule and Assignment Requirements

• Must be flexible to work all shifts as required by the department.
• Weekend and holiday rotation is required.
• Block scheduling and scheduling accommodations are not available.
• Travelers must be available to work assigned holiday periods, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's, as scheduled by the facility.
• A maximum of five days of requested time off may be considered, with fewer days preferred. Requests submitted after profile upload or during the interview process will not be approved.
• Candidates must be willing to work according to the facility's scheduling needs and cannot combine this assignment with another permanent placement or travel assignment.

Travel Eligibility

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible.

Required Submission Documents

Please ensure the following documents are included with the candidate's profile:

• Active Massachusetts RRT license (must be in hand at submission; pending licensure will not be accepted).
• Active NBRC RRT certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current NRP certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) experience.
• Ability and willingness to work with patients of all ages.
• Ability to cross-train in cardiopulmonary diagnostic procedures.
• Meditech Expanse experience is highly preferred.
• Reliable personal transportation is required.
