Job Title: Travel RN – Emergency Room (Adult ER)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Charting: EPIC experience required

Required Qualifications

• Active New York Single-State RN License required (pending license not accepted)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Strong adult emergency nursing experience

Required Clinical Skills

• IV therapy, blood product administration, central line care, phlebotomy, and IV vasopressors
• CPAP/BiPAP and ventilator management
• Stroke (CVA), neuro-trauma, TBI, and spinal cord injury
• Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
• Adult/pediatric emergency care, gunshot wounds, and orthopedic trauma
• Triage and isolation precautions
• Pediatric spinal cord injury care

• Patient Ratio: 1:5
• Patient Population: Adults and geriatrics
• Floating: Required within clinical competency
• Scrub Color: Navy blue and white combination
• Holiday Requirement: Every other holiday, as needed
• RTO: All requests must be submitted with the initial application
• Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts during the 13-week contract
• Local Candidates: RNs residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible for the travel contract
