Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Lapeer, MI | $2,026.00/week
Position Details:
- Location: Lapeer, MI
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Contract: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Afternoons, 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Hours: 40 hours guaranteed per week
- Weekend: Required, including weekend shifts
- On-Call: None
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MLS experience
- ASCP certification required (copy must be submitted)
- BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross)
- Previous travel experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples using venipuncture and skin puncture techniques.
- Verify patient information, label specimens accurately, and process samples according to established protocols.
- Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and data entry.
- Follow infection control, biohazard disposal, and laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
