Job Description:

Position: Medical Technologist / Clinical Lab Scientist

Location: Hyannis, Massachusetts

Setting: Hospital Laboratory

Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule:

4x8s or 5x8s Day Shift
32-40 hours per week
Hours may fluctuate based on department needs

Travel Pay Package:

$2,140 per week total (40 hours) Includes base pay, housing, meals and incidentals
$1,786 per week total (32 hours) Prorated package

Overview:

Perform diagnostic testing on blood, sputum, stool, cerebrospinal fluid, and other specimens
Utilize laboratory instrumentation and testing procedures
Work within a hospital laboratory environment
Support blood bank operations
Utilize EPIC charting system
Analyze specimens and report accurate laboratory results

Any scrub color permitted
Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per rolling 4-week period with at least 2 hours notice
COVID vaccine declinations accepted
Flu vaccine declinations accepted
Timekeeping through VNDLY

Requirements:

ASCP certification required
Blood Bank experience within the last year required and clearly reflected on resume
Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field
Successful completion of accredited Medical Laboratory Technologist or Clinical Laboratory Scientist program
At least 1 year of relevant laboratory experience preferred
BLS if required by facility

Skills Checklist completed within 6 months
2 professional references attached separately
Full SSN and DOB required
All RTO must be provided at submission
