Description

LDRP RN — Float | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule: Days + call • 6:45 AM–7:15 PM
Block scheduling allowed; no self-scheduling.
Holidays: Every other holiday
Weekends: Conflicting notes—every other weekend versus every third weekend; confirm before submission.

Unit Highlights

15 beds: 7 L&D and 8 postpartum.
Approximately 58 births/month; 1 C-section OR.
Ratios: 1:1 for Pitocin, magnesium, or insulin drips; 1:3 couplet care.
Primarily obstetric/neonatal patients, including hypertension and gestational diabetes.
OB/neonatology and anesthesia are not in-house 24/7.
Charting: Meditech • EFM: TraceView/PIP.

Requirements

Previous travel experience.
BLS and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring.
Strong fetal-strip interpretation and drip titration skills.
Willingness to float to Med-Surg, ER, and other areas within skill set.
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred.
Active license required at submission; .

Assignment Details

Call/standby depends on staffing.
Three unit orientation shifts.
Maroon surgical scrubs provided; change on the unit.
50-mile radius rule.
No full-time, part-time, or PRN employment with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past 12 months.
All RTO required upfront; additional requests not approved.
Facility may cancel 4 shifts per 13 weeks, or 3 shifts for shorter assignments.
