Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Laboratory Scientist Facility Type/Setting: Critical Access Hospital – Laboratory Location: Meyersdale, PA 15552 Shift &amp; Schedule: Night Shift, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week Contract Length: 13 weeks Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Call/Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend/as needed; call as needed Requirements:<ul><li>ASCP certification in Medical Laboratory Technology or Medical Laboratory Science.</li><li>Minimum 1 year of experience.</li><li>Phlebotomy experience required.</li><li>EPIC experience required.</li><li>Must complete all required screenings and clearances before starting.</li><li>Pennsylvania state and federal fingerprinting and background clearances required.</li><li>FBI fingerprinting completed within the last two years is accepted. Preferred Qualifications:</li><li>Experience with EXL Dimension chemistry analyzer, Sysmex XN-550, Softbank, and Sysmex CA-600.</li></ul> Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform medical laboratory testing and related technical duties.</li><li>Perform phlebotomy and support specimen collection and processing.</li><li>Operate laboratory equipment and document results using EPIC.</li><li>Work independently as a stand-alone technician during assigned shifts.</li><li>Support laboratory services for patients across all age groups.</li><li>Float as needed.</li></ul>
