Position Overview: 
Valley View is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to support our growing Med-Surg / Acute Care and Observation Unit. Increased patient volumes related to orthopedic surgeries, hybrid Cath Lab procedures, and acute and chronic medical conditions have created a need for additional nursing support.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to adult patients. Using the nursing process, the RN will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

Key Responsibilities: 
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult acute care, medical-surgical, and observation patients.
Assess patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
Monitor patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries and those undergoing or recovering from Cath Lab procedures, as assigned.
Care for patients with acute and chronic illnesses.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility policies.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately.
Participate in weekend rotations and the required on-call schedule.

Required Qualifications: 
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or a similar setting.
Current RN license valid for practice in Colorado.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
Willingness to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekend rotation.
Willingness to participate in the required call rotation.
Current flu vaccination; no exemptions or declinations accepted.
