Location: Riverside, California
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Description

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking experienced Travel Labor & Delivery Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a busy labor and delivery unit. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and providing safe, compassionate care to mothers and newborns.

Responsibilities

• Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout labor and delivery.
• Perform non-stress tests (NSTs) and cervical examinations.
• Manage labor and administer/titrate medications as ordered.
• Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including McRoberts maneuvers when indicated.
• Provide transition nursing and newborn support, including baby-catching responsibilities as applicable.
• Provide couplet care when floating to the Postpartum unit.
• Maintain accurate documentation using CPN and Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient safety.

Requirements

• Current California RN license.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification/competency required.
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience.
• Ability to provide couplet care when floated to Postpartum.
• Flexibility to work weekends and meet unit staffing needs.
