MRI Technologist – Day Shift

Job Description:
 

The MRI Technologist performs MRI and radiology imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, image quality, and compliance with established protocols. Candidates must have relevant MRI experience; a separate MRI certification is not required.
 

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI and radiology imaging procedures according to physician orders.
• Prepare patients for imaging and explain procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and follow MRI safety protocols.
• Obtain diagnostic-quality images and follow established imaging standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility policies.
• Follow patient identification, infection control, and safety procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience.
• ARRT certification in Radiology/MRI, as specified by the facility.
• Current AHA BLS certification.
• Active Kansas LRT license through the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA).
• Must have successfully completed at least 2 travel contracts; first-time travelers are not accepted.
• Must reside more than 45 miles from the facility.
