Description

Travel MRI Technologist – Breast Imaging
Location: New York, NY

Position Details

Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday: 10 AM–6 PM | Saturday: 8 AM–4 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours/week

Requirements

Graduate of an AMA/JRCERT-approved Radiologic Technology program.
Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (LRT).
ARRT MRI certification required.
NY State IV certification and BLS required.
Breast MRI proficiency required.
Breast MRI biopsy experience preferred.
Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of MRI physics, cross-sectional anatomy, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

Perform high-quality MRI examinations, including breast imaging.
Ensure proper patient positioning, screening, and MRI safety protocols.
Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and maintain accurate PACS/RIS documentation.
Assist physicians during imaging procedures and maintain equipment safety.
