Job Responsibilities

The Respiratory Practitioner supports patients using respiratory and home medical equipment by performing basic equipment-related assessments and coordinating equipment setup.

Relevant clinical skills and equipment:

• CPAP and BiPAP
• Apnea monitors
• Trach collar and tracheostomy care
• Suctioning (ETT and NT)
• Arterial blood gas (ABG) interpretation
• Cough assist
• Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) care

Patient and Unit Details

• Patient Population: Infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily Census: Approximately 10
