Job Details

• Shift: Days, Monday–Friday
• Schedule: 5×8-hour shifts; a combination of 8s and 10s may be offered
• 12-hour shifts: Not accepted
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week
• RTO: Must be submitted with the profile
• Scrubbing: Preferred, but not required
• Pediatric OR Experience: Preferred

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR experience
• Charge experience required
• Previous travel experience must be documented on the resume
• Current BLS and PALS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Current resume and specialty-specific skills checklist
• OR experience from an office surgery setting is not accepted

Required Surgical Experience

Experience in the following areas is required:

• Neurology
• Orthopedics
• ENT
• General surgery
• Ophthalmology/Eyes

Compliance Requirements

• Flu vaccination is mandatory; declinations are not accepted.
• Nicotine-free facility: nicotine testing is required along with the drug screen.
• RTO must be included at submission.
• Resume must clearly document at least 2 years of OR experience and travel experience.

Important Points to Confirm

1. Candidate has documented charge experience.
2. Candidate has travel experience and at least 2 years of qualifying OR experience.
3. Candidate has EPIC experience and current BLS/PALS.
4. Candidate can work weekday day shifts with 8-hour or 10-hour schedules, but not 12-hour shifts.
5. Candidate is willing to complete nicotine testing and meet the facility's flu vaccination requirement.

Best Fit

An experienced travel OR RN with at least 2 years of hospital OR experience, charge experience, EPIC proficiency, BLS/PALS, and experience in neuro, ortho, ENT, general, and eye surgery. Pediatric OR experience is a plus.
