Travel CVOR/Surgical Technologist assignment, 13-week contract, 40 guaranteed hours per week, four 10-hour day shifts Monday-Friday, variable start times of 6:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 11:00 AM, start times remain consistent within each week, later starts on Tuesdays and Fridays for in-services and team meetings, assignment at Virginia Mason Medical Center (VMMC), 22 operating room suites with capacity to expand to 26 across three floors, approximately 50-65 cases per day, cardiac-trained surgical technologist needed for CABG and valve repair/replacement procedures, must also be proficient in at least three of the following specialties: general surgery, urology, gynecology, ENT, robotics, orthopedic total joints/sports, or neurosurgery. Weekday and weekend call required, including a 30-minute response time, call room available, call scheduled by the manager, floating to other surgical specialties may be required when other techs cover cardiac cases, teal scrubs provided, Epic charting, phone interview required, bring personal earphones for online training during the first week of orientation, facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment. More than two absence occurrences during a 13-week contract may result in early termination.
