Position Overview:
 

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry for a 13-week travel contract assignment in its Tele Float Pool 1 department in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate must have an active California RN license, current BLS and ACLS certifications, and proven proficiency in the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system.

The Registered Nurse will provide coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned groups of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, implementing and evaluating nursing interventions, monitoring patient conditions, and coordinating care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams. The RN will also supervise and direct assigned nursing staff while exercising critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California required.
• Current BLS certification from an approved provider required.
• Current ACLS certification from an approved provider required.
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification required.
• Previous experience with the Epic EHR system required.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
