Description
BMT - Oncology/Mixed Acuity PCU and MS Unit
Required:
- 1 year MS and inpatient hematology oncology
- BLS, ONS
- EPIC
- MUST have exp with Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias , Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma , Multiple Myeloma
Preferred:
- ACLS
- Travel experience
Patient Diagnoses:
Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL)
Acute myeloid leukemia (Adult)
Amyloidosis
Aplastic anemia
Chronic leukemia
Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL)
Chronic myeloid (myelogenous) leukemia
Hodgkin's lymphoma
Multiple myeloma
Myelodysplastic syndrome
Myeloproliferative disorders
Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
-Autologous transplants: patients receive their own stem cells.
-Syngeneic transplants: patients receive stem cells from their identical twin.
